The 31st edition of the International URTI Grand Prix for Author’s Documentary set a new record of participation with 255 documentaries presented by international television channels representing 72 countries.
La 31ème édition du Grand Prix International URTI du Documentaire d’Auteur a établi un nouveau record de participation avec 255 documentaires présentés par des chaînes internationales de télévision représentant 72 pays.
The URTI thus confirms its place at the first rank of international audiovisual Grand Prizes.
L’URTI conforte ainsi sa place au premier rang des Grands Prix audiovisuels internationaux.
The pre-selection Jury meeting in Paris from April 23 until 26, 2012, selected the ten programmes which got the statute of finalist:

These finalist programmes will be viewed from June 9 until 11, 2012, by a final Jury, made up of professionals from about twenty countries, in the framework of the Monte Carlo Television Festival.
Ces programmes finalistes seront visionnés du 9 au 11 juin 2012 par un Jury final, composé de professionnels d’une vingtaine de pays, dans le cadre du Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo.
The ceremony announcing the results of this Grand Prix, endowed with 5,000 Dollars, will take place on Monday, June 11 at the Hermitage Hotel (Monte-Carlo).
La cérémonie de proclamation du palmarès de ce Grand Prix, d’une dotation de 5.000 Dollars, se déroulera le lundi 11 juin à l’Hôtel Hermitage (Monte-Carlo).
Created in 1949, URTI is the oldest audiovisual organisation and the only one entirely dedicated to the international. This professional union organizes exchanges of television and radio programmes, Grand Prix of international renown, co-productions, training workshops and actions for the promotion of world audiovisual creation.
